In November 2021, March 2022 and October 2022 I travelled by ferry from Victoria, BC to Prince Rupert, BC on our way to our new home on Haida Gwaii. The major part of our journey was travelling through the Inside Passage on the west coast of British Columbia. On all of these trips, the weather was cold, dark and wet, and on occasion, snow flurries and freezing rain—the perfect lighting and opportunity for some moody, monotone photographs depicting the moving picture ride through some of our province’s more spectacular scenery.
