I am drawn to the modern landscape, exploring our use of signage, icons, writings, constructs, cast-offs and transportation with an eye to understanding contemporary culture. Curious and amused by how we inform and transform our urban and rural spaces, my minds eye seeks graphically pleasing images instilled with a double take of, if successful, irony and amusement…and possibly a shred of residual underlying meaning.
